Does anyone know the new colors for this bag? thanks!

I've seen:

-in suede, a lighter brown, I think it's called nutmeg or some other nut...
-black and white patent (w/ gold hardware)

and everyone's favorite, lilo, has been sporting a white one w/ silver hardware, not sure what kind of leather it is.

What did you think of the patent, was it better than leather? I saw the black one at saks and the leather is so soft, is the patent soft or plasticy?

I really cant decide which I like better, white or black

I'm sorry but I didn't touch or see them close so I can't really say, the black one was up on a shelf several feet above my head and the white one was in the display window at the miu miu store in soho...

I love everything patent right now though.

I've been searching for this month...and 2 weeks ago,my friends saw it on David Jones,but i was so busy with my project for my Uni....and when i came to David JOnes,it's gone,the shopkeeper says it's sold out...OMG

Is the patent more than the regular leather ones? And most importantly, is it out yet?

Ester I think it's pretty much unavailable anywhere in Australia right now. It's completely sold out at Evelyn Miles and David Jones I'm guessing (though Sydney DJs don't have Miu Miu!!!! ) I guess your next best bet is Netaporter

I live in Australia too and often, I can't get the latest bags I want just cos Australia isn't really that high on any designer's list.
What Ive done in the past is that I've had to get them from overseas. Think Miu Miu in Singapore or Hong Kong. Ring the store up and enquire. Now that Lohan has been seen toting a Coffer, prepare to see a massive wait list come up. Net a porter is really good too and try Neiman Marcus. They can always post it.

pointless post but i love love love this bag- in brown suede. I love that it can be worn messenger style.
Would it fit a notepad for uni?

hi all! I have to share this with you all (as my friends do not understand it!! today i have bought the coffer in black patent and it is gorgeous!!! i fell in love with it immediately! i did not see the other types of leather irl, but this is amazing!!! i tried to make a picture but my camera is not working.......:-(
well, will post pics as soon as possible!!! someone else who has the patent?

it is very soft! i cannot compare with the leather version, but it is wonderful soft! Guessgirl, one question: unlocking was very hard, and after the bag has been unlocked, do you keep it that way?? because i noticed that if you close the bag you will need the key again to open the bag!!or am i doing something wrong?????

maxima, i don't know if the patent is the same as the suede coffer, but on my suede if you close the bag then you can just push the little buttons (on mine it's the right hand button when i'm wearing it messenger style) towards the middle and it will release the lock w/o using the key.

hi drel39! thanks for your answer! do you maen the two buttons aside from the lock? i cannot move them at all....i have locked the bag now, but cannot find any buttons that i can move.....mmmm very interesting case here hahaha! i think i have to keep open all the time....or maybe i do something wrong...
