Miu Miu F/W 06 bags - Coffer et al

Klow, did you get the suede or leather coffer? Congratulations!
 
I have a question: do any of the Coffers have a "strong leather smell"? I am on the waiting list for the coffer here, and I got to see the store sample. I was a bit disappointed, it didn't smell like leather (is this a strange expectation from me? please tell me. I actually love this aspect of a luxury bag) and it didn't feel luxurious. The store people told me that its because the sample was handled a lot but the new ones to have it. Those with coffers - what about yours?

I really like this bag but I don't know if I'd wear it. The brown suede version is so delicious as is the grey suede. I love the way it looks in on those women in the Sartorialist photos. So chic!
 
oooooooooooh LUXX! do you have pics of the grey suede?

does anyone know or can tell me what kind of suede/leather these are made out of? thanks!

Sorry Jun3:( I was aways on the weekend (Labour Day long weekend here). Will try to take some pics sometime during the week.

Also I must admit that I am so lazy and got fed up since I got an unpleasant experience with some comments about the Muse I posted plus the pictures got stolen. It made me sick of it.

Having said that, I do realise that there are so many of you girls who are wonderful and very supportive. So the pictures are coming soon^_^

oh...i dont mean to put all kinds of presure on you, chlo. i just always look forward to your pics:doh: im sorry you had a bad experience with your muse pics, i didn't even know...:( and i heard late about that awful F***d up person who took your pics of the other bag. i know the feeling, utterly disgusting...because it happened to me with my stam bag:cry: :cry: . im sending many hugs your way...and when you do decide to post pics of your coffer, i'll be drooling over it on my side of the computer monitor. thank you chloe!
 
I actually saw this bag today IRL..the blk leather & the brown suede..both are really nice!! I was so tempted to buy the blk leather one..plus I had a 20% off coupon for the boutique..but I passed...now I can't stop thinking about it!! I tried it on messenger style and although some ppl said it doesn't look great worn that way, it was still cute IMO.
Question: Is the leather suppose to be so shiney? Does anyone think it makes the bag look cheap? It feels a bit like vinyl to me. Or is that the look?

^I think the coffer looks great regardless of whether it's leather or suede.

klow-chloe' - I certainly look forward to your pictures! :flower:
Personally I love members who put up pictures of themselves with their bags, it's so much more interesting and informative than the runway pictures.

I have the black leather and the leather has a bit of a sheen, but I don't think it looks cheap at all. I think the "shine" may actually subside a little after some time. As far as the feel, I think the leather feels pretty thick like a really good quality leather. I have tried carrying it messenger style, and i really like it after I take all the stuffing out- you may want to try it on that way as I think it lays better on the body. Hope this helps! It's a gorgeous bag!!:heart:
 
As promise here are some of the pictures I took. I am in love :wub: :wub: :wub: with this bag and find that it is sooo gorgeous and go with my wardrobe, already received many complements from other girls.





 
WOZA CHLOE! i am so in love with it! and as always, such fabulous wardrobe pieces! i bet it would look slammin with some golds or greens....just with the brown shoes it really pops! i officially envy the crap out of your bag collection now ^_^ (in a good way, babe!) karma
