in the interview, she talks about her trip during the last runway season in Europe. she says because she arrived late, on Jan 15, opportunities and time for go-sees were truncated. she wasn't actually booked for Dior Couture in the first place, it was when Galliano saw her at the last minute that he was impressed enough to make a special accomodation to give an extra outfit to her!
when asked about her future plans she said she will concentrate mainly in the chinese market (what can be done to convince her otherwise?? this is unfortunate) just bc she feels familiar with it (and i think somewhere there also is a sense of obligatory pride).
she then quips about her encounter with the European media. many of them tried to guess her nationality: indian, malaysian, mixed, japanese... to which her surprise led to ask "why havent you guessed chinese", and they said "because we think of chinese models as being short and have _insert stereotyped physical features_" (the ignorance!!!!!!)
