Diversity is (finally) seeping onto the catwalks. At least five of Phillip Lim’s latest runway spots were striking Asian models. Our current favorite (and newest addition to the Model Manual) is 5'10" Mo Wandan. Currently signed with Next Model Management, the Chinese beauty has walked some major shows since the start of 2007. For fall, she hit Narciso Rodriguez and Valentino, and was also recently cast in the Dior couture show. I'm really surprised that there are so few Asian girls modeling. They have the monopoly on waif! This girl is gorgeous, I'm glad to see she's signed with what could be a promising career ahead.

I've noticed that this girl doesn't stop working in China, which leaves her little time to do Paris, NY or Milan. Most of the shoots are just by herself no other models are needed to carry it. When she is with a group of models, either she is in the center or at the far left, the first to get noticed.

These pics are from her blog she toots her own horn and says that many magazines want her and everyone of them are focused on her to be in their magazines! Oh Well!! :-)
