this happens all the time. Girls leave their agencies constantly. At the most, the former agency sues, a settlement is reached and that's that. Agents and bookers leave on a pretty regular basis as well though we hear less about it. Same procedure--lawsuits are filed or threatened and some settlement is reached and that's that. Contracts mean very little in this biz.

Marilyn won't be the next Ford. A lot more things were going on Ford than just Society landing in NYC that caused Ford's board to be completely cleaned out.

Yes they still have both Ranya and Rachel, though I can't say they are booking up a storm at the moment...

Their management is almost, if not completely, new. The one who took over drove out the ones who were making Marilyn a powerhouse. Some of the girls would complain to their mother agencies to reach their former bookers to get them out of Marilyn

And Adriana. Maybe not to The Society though. They seem to be Chris' girls, but I'm not too sure about Adriana since she was just hanging out with him the other day. They seem to be close, so I can't see her turning around and leaving.

^ I'm really not sure, I think they can have a good booking season if Catherine, Marie Piovesan, Katlin, Magdalena Jasek, and Liu are still on their books by September. We'll have to wait and see.

Marilyn is most likely making their money off the girls you wouldn't expect.. high fashion isn't necessarily what pays the bills until you get into mega contract world and big advertising. Sometimes a day for Nordstrom pays as much as a fashion campaign.. you'd be surprised.

Is it too off topic to opine that a Marilyn booker getting defensive and asking and saying if Bambi Magazine "is a Magazine for kids?!" and they don't have anyone available for it, might not be good business?

The agency director left Marilyn a few weeks ago, so where he ends up most of the remaining girls from Marilyn will no doubt soon follow..
