Models Switching Agencies

it seems to me that ford has put together an excellent board, much better than it was before imo.

^ agreed. I think this move will allow her to be commercial AND editorial, and make runway appearances, too.

Totally agree on the part that Ty has all it takes to work well on both commercial and fashion sides.

But then... don't know or I misunderstand something. Again, I can agree almost easily with the fact she's not one of the typical "old-Supreme" girls as most of us think of them. But in that case Rachel Clark wasn't either and she made all her career there.

Then when I check the current mainboard at Ford, I see models like Helle Platou (that I quite like since her beginnings) or Emily Senko (nonstop growing on me) or, say, Megija Kenina or Angel Rutledge who are rather the IMG type... why not, Ford is a different project and that might be the main division's actual concept. Mixing those to Dafne, Hildie, India etc.

But that's actually nothing new to me. Some of the late additions to Supreme, same moment as Ty actually were rather of that kind too like Teresa Dilger or Chloe...

So if those above were suitable for the old Supreme (unless you think they weren't, then I totally understand your whole point) or those mentioned in my previous paragraph fit for the new Ford, why not Ty ?

Not trying to get off topic or saying anyone's post is pointless when they are actually sensitive and sensible additions to this thread but first Ty is one of my favorite from the "new generation" and second, I'm much interested in what is people's actual perception of these agencies that are discussed all day on this page.

Again, sorry if I'm completely off topic and let's just forget it or move my post to a more appropriate place on TFS.

I tend to think that the girls you mentioned and especially the German ones like Teresa Digler, Sandra Malek, Katharina Friedrich or Dari Maximova and finally Tye were rather meant to work crossover between commercial and editorial, maybe to make sure that the money part is being saved cause Supreme hasn't been an art atelier but a serious management company with bills who wait to be paid, nevertheless... Therefor, I don't think they nececesarily fit Supreme's aesthetical line. I noted that all rather classical or commercial girls were given the chance to prove themselves in high fashion though, but they still had the possibility to work commercially/editorially in the case they didn't take off in high fashion unlike girls like Kate @AL or Inga @IQ who can only work in one certain niche . Thus i think the slight commercial girls were a small chargeback for the very androgynous and offbeat beauties whose potential did only allow them to work in special niches which were very exciting to follow and analyze but not that luctarive in economical terms. And since Ford has nice financial backers and some money makers signed to Ford before, they didn't need the commercial girls like Katharina, Teresa, Sandra and Tye, anymore. I don't know if I'm right either, but that's what i assume

I have no idea what image Ford is trying to project now, they are definitely not the old Supreme... and that is definitely a good thing, I think that look has passed, and Ford cannot be some image only agency... its Ford afterall! I am waiting for the showcards to come out to see what the agencies look like and what they are projecting to make up my mind about Ford, Supreme, even Next.. because there is too much going on at the moment ..

Does anyone know what's going on with Stasya Izyumova? She stayed behind at Supreme for a long time (after most of the girls switched to Ford) but now she's gone too.
