Models Switching Agencies

^ Not really, as Claudia Midolo (who discovered Toni) is the boss/ owner of Modelwerk. No idea what happened or why she chose to leave. Maybe personal issues? Her brother left the agency aswell.

A Girl working at her level make very serious money, and bring very serious amount of comission to her mother agency.
The personal issues is probably not an option at that level of work...money story is.;)

^the same amount of money is taken from the model whether she has a mother agency or not.
20% always total, the model never has more taken.
so for toni, with her mother agency, 10 would go to women, 10 to modelwerk.
if she only had women, all 20 would go to women

Not exactly. when a girl reach her level, everything is discussable.
For exemple, another mother agency can propose her to take only 5%, which means she has 5% more for her.

Even the "20%" are discussable when a girl reach top level, 80% switch of agencies happened from discussions around that...

Tatiana Kovylina: One -> Women NY
Ernesta Petkeviciute: Major -> Next NY
Jenny Chalmers: Independent -> Elite London

^Would be the most logical move after switching in NY

And for Jenny Chalmers, she's also with Muse NYC now ^_^

Viktoriya Sekrier: DNA ---> Major
Daisy Loewe: Women ---> Next
Martha Hunt: Code ---> Next

I don't think those were posted.

slightly OT, but I thought this was interesting... from The Imagist:

...
This morning a certain well known European mother agent called me up to solicit a list of the 10 Best Shows In New York for a girl to book. The plan was (a/l/a Anna S at Silent) to not place this choice girl with an agency here but to crash the NYC market and supervise her bookings from a hotel room.
...
if it's an established mother agent, wouldn't their regular partner agencies be pissed if they start managing girls on their own internationally? let's say your primary partner in NY is NEXT (just an example) and you place most of your top girls there, but then you have this one amazing new face where you go "uh-uh, we're handling this one ourselves". how could that not kill relations??

also, if you have to solicit Wayne Sterling for a list of the best shows to book... :unsure:

but do you think this could become a trend? the MA's incentives are obvious, but it seems like so much trouble.
