what exactly is a showcard? i.e. what purpose does it serve?

^ All agencies put together a show package with cards of their stars and their most promising new girls and send out to clients and casting directors for the casting of the shows. It's the girls that will be doing fashion week. Basically it's like a normal comp card, just a special one made for show season.
