she's a pretty girl but she's only 13 which means she's a child.
in any other job children this age are not allowed to work. and also this business is not the right place for children. i'm quite shocked some people here don't care.

*DiamondQueen* It's not that we don't care, it's definitely a harsh business for someone so young to experience, but honestly, if I am shocked over anything: I am shocked that I am no longer shocked. If that makes any sense.

But it's not like it's something entirely new either—many of the top models (Gisele, Kate M, for example) started when they were around 14. Many teens start modeling and acting when they're very young, and we usually don't hear about them until they've made their way up the ranks and are subsequently older, but perhaps it's the whole race to find the next 'new face' that we're starting to see the younger girls more often in higher profile bookings.

I work some years in this business as international model so I know exactly what I talk about.
Some persons should see the fact a child this age needs lots of time to develop personality, character on his/her own without being influenced by an industry which is made for grown-ups. a world which is not a child's world.
and not every girl who starts aged 13 will become the next supermodel that's just naive  sure, some models who are famous today started at a very young age while others like claudia schiffer, irina...started "later" and made the big success too. every career is different.

she's beautiful. But seriously the agencies should stop scouting thirteen year old girl, it's only taking away their childhood.
