We can’t help our obsession with Monika “Jac” Jagaciak this Fashion Week! We caught up with the Polish-American beauty backstage at Rag and Bone yesterday— no doubt just one of her many stops this fashion season— where we got the inside scoop on everything from her favorite shopping hotpsots, to some hidden talents that may surprise you! Is there anything on your fall fashion wishlist?
I lot of warm, good, cozy sweaters! I’ll be looking a lot of different places for cashmere or anything that is comfortable.
What are some of your favorite places to shop while you’re in New York?
I love to go to multi-brand stores like Opening Ceremony and Scoop.
What bag are you carrying with you this week?
I’ve been carry this classic Chanel bag forever, not just during Fashion Week. Although, I do have another one from Balenciaga that is bigger…I carry my whole life in there. It’s my “to-go” bag.
What was the first designer item you bought with your own money?
Probably a Chanel bag…the classic 2.55 bag.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I did a lot of sports before I started modeling, so I can do high jump, long jump, and a lot of track and field events.

Christy Turlington!
If you could trade closets with anyone-who would you choose?
Probably my friend, Caroline Brasch Nielsen. She’s a crazy shopper and has the best stuff!
What’s the most random thing in your bag?
I am carrying a lot of different medicines…like vitamins and aspirin. I like to have it with me during Fashion Week, to keep myself healthy.
What is the one pair of shoes that you have to have for fall?
A pair of comfy leather sneakers!
