Katryn may have not made a comeback on the runways, but she's still booking work (like campaigns). But yeah, I agree about the IMG trend. They don't spend a lot of time nurturing their newcomers, especially with all of the big names they already have. I think this also plays a huge part in Montana's absence this season.

Montana should look at an agency change. IMG are like this, focus on their supermodels, and forget about their newer girls. Unless your established, IMG isn't the agency you want to be signed with

I really doubt that IMG was more selective with Montana's castings than they were with Yumi's, for example. There really is no reason to be. Montana is not a brand new face nor did she have momentum from campaigns, eds or from doing HC shows in January. I'd guess that they were sent on a lot of the same castings and not all of the shows Yumi walked in NY were A-list.

Sometimes it is just difficult for success to carry over from one market to another and especially from one season to the next.

She already turned down Next before to pursue a contract with IMG, a decision that was applauded at the time... I'm not so sure they'd be eager to take her on at this point, but who knows. There are a lot of other agencies, but then again she had some reason to go with IMG.

I strongly doubt Next would profit by taking over a girl that had zero shows under her belt duing the latest season, especially the one that has turned them down.

I thought maybe she had enough prior success for them to give her a boost. There must be some agency that would be willing to support Ms. Montana.
