i think Next will have taken her on, but perhaps want to wait for a visa or something before they make a big hoo haa about it? They are superb PR machines at Next and if they're holding her back its for a reason. They sat on Abbey Lee for a long time before doing some wonderous work with her.

Montana Vs. Versace

Another foxy moment with ANTM’s winner Montana, rockin an old school Versace swimsuit one night at my studio. YOWSERS!

yeah, her hips are too narrow for this pose
and the picture itself looks really cheap

looks like something i could take with my digital camera. If I were Montana I wouldn't be using this in my folio. I had a look at the photographers website, his work looks like he is trying to imitate Terry Richardson (just a poor mans version)

i completely agree
it's the pose and the whole nature of the shoot that doesn't make it work

The pictures are for "Lovisa - Jewellery and Hair Accessories"

this is the article from Who Magazine

Ahead of a trip to New York, Who joins the star of 'Australia's Next Top Model' on her latest shoot

Swathed in a white gown and dripping with gold, Montana Cox is a Grecian goddess made flesh on the set of her first jewellery campaign, for Melbourne brand Lovisa, in Sydney on December 9. As she moves her 1.79cm frame to best showcase the "Andromeda" look- one of the five themes she has to model in 8 hours- it's clear that photographer Darren McDonald has captured something special. "Montana is a natural beauty and has amazing presence in front of the lens," Lovisa's marketing manager, Chelsea Carey, tells Who of booking the winner of 2011's Australia's Next Top Model to front its summer2012 collection "We definitely had a lot of 'wow' moments on-set."

For fashion's golden girl- Top model host Sarah Murdoch dubbed Cox the "best ever" winner in October- it's a long way from her life as a Melbourne-raised teenager, playing netball and juggling Year 12, before auditioning for Fox8's reality hit. Having shelved plans to study for a media degree and moved to Sydeny's eastern suburbs, where she is living with male flatmate (one is also a model), the Kate Moss fan is in her element as she slips into Lovisa's "Morroco" range. "Its like a girl's dream getting you hair and makeup done and playing with jewellery," says Cox, 18, who covets labels Alexander Wang and Zimmermann. "The shoot was really cool!"

Her career is set to burn hotter, with Cox landing work for Betts, Witchery and David Jone's upcoming autumn/winter campaign, alongside Miranda Kerr. "Its exciting to know people are behind me," says the model, who keeps in shape with healthy exercise- "You have to be aware of what you're eating, that you're looking after your skin, hair, exercising, going to bed a good hour." She is travelling to New York next month "to meet agencies," but when she's off duty, the single Cox ("I'd love a boyfriend but there just hasn't been anytime") prefers chilling with pals at a bar over clubbing, or "whipping up a healthy pasta for my friends." Small pleasures for a goddess with grand plans: "My dream is to be living in New York, traveling to do catwalk shows and working for big guns like Chanel," she says. "There's no limit!"

why would she be meeting with agencies, when Next have apparently signed her...thats a bit odd

where was it ever announced that they signed her?
weren't we just discussing last week that nothing ever came of the first visit?

i hope her second trip goes better. when amanda went to NY she shot tests etc, hopefully montana can stay on longer this time and meet with more photographers and make some connections.

if she doesn't sign with next, hopefully another big agency will pick her up!! or maybe next will see an improvement and snap her up :-)

Talk is cheap, sure. But it starts to increase in value with each superlative and as reputations are staked on predictions. Montana Cox, reality television star and captain of Nillumbik House in 2011 at Eltham College – a charming mix of mortal and celebrity the 18-year-old carries well – did not just win Australia’s Next Top Model 2011. She obliterated it.

Let the talk begin. Alex Perry stated, “(Montana) is the calibre of girl you would see in any international fashion magazine”. Sarah Murdoch ran with it and called her “a supermodel in the making”. Harper’s Bazaar Australia editor Edwina McCann trumped the pack, lauding Montana Cox, “Monty” to friends, as “the greatest discovery for any Next Top Model series”.

Once again, I can't wait for her to go back to NYC and hopefully start walking at FW.
