Mugler S/S 2021 Paris

The presentation was stellar and got a lot of attention and press.

The fashion is... basic and unmemorable...

^The fashion is perfect for a young woman to wear while luring customers to come and see the great discounts at some used car agency...I don't know if that's also a thing in the first world.

Original Mugler was only tolerable when doing tailoring, could we maybe get a decent skirt suit for old time's sake? Something that doesn't sexually assault the person wearing it? Is it too much to ask?

^^^ LOL

The cast has a lot of personality, in particular Omahyra, Irina and Alek create a solid enough mood for this Mugler— albeit a Mugler Jeans mood. Maybe it’s the budget that’s limiting his creative output…It’s still better than Nicola’s effort for the brand. And as budget-conscious made-on-the-fly as it all seems, it’s absolutely more creatively-directional and refreshing than that person at Givenchy— with all the bought hype and multi-million dollar branding could ever conjure but never live up to. I’ll take this Mugler— even if all the fashions here are just to sell a new fragrance.

Maybe galliano should quit Margiela and come do Mugler, he's the only one I can think of with enough theatrics (and minus the instagram clout thirst plaguing so many designers of today. Every designer for this brand just seems to do the same black and white tight clothes with cutouts. Where's the glamour, the hourglass corsets, the confidence, the colors, the fun?

Part two is the underrated star of the season. Don’t know why everyone all of a sudden is so offended by sex appeal.
