Mugler S/S 2026 Paris

A beige collection at Mugler?? Also some looks are totally diluted versions of archival pieces. He tries to give it a modern look...but nope, they still look dated.

Yeah it's rough around the edges for sure. Some color would've helped his case and the quality of the materials needs to be elevated IMMEDIATELY. But his direction is solid for Mugler in 2025.

I was scared I was going to be in the minority here for loving this, but this collection is easily one of the highlights of my season.

Casey, you are bones.

The collection doesn’t really find its footing until around look 10, when a sharp, Muglerian suit finally sets the tone. After that it drifts again, and we wait nearly another 10 looks before a second wasp-waist silhouette appears in a luminous, shimmering finish.

In between, the runway is crowded with confusing, half-resolved ideas. Heavy leather drapes weighed down by leather flowers dominate, leaving many looks feeling unfinished and mismatched. The core issue seems to be materials. The weights and fabrics simply don’t align with the intended silhouettes, which undermines the precision and strength of the designs.

Look 33 is the true standout and feels like a must-have that anchors the entire collection. The trench that follows and the sleek tank are equally strong, suggesting what the whole lineup could have been.

The stand out pieces scream Mugler but are not direct dupes.

I'm just happy that somebody tried to make something real of a fantasy brand. It's a long road ahead but it was a good start. The problem with mugler is that his couture clothes and showpieces from the past will always outshine the new. And there was a lot of Jpg there why ? This is the house where people are very afraid to touch on the archives were the real clothing lay. They just jump to the fantasy pieces.

I dont know if it's me, but it looks badly made? is it the lighting? it doesn't feel as sharp as this stuff needs to be.

Hummm ... it reminded me of Gareth Pugh towards the latter part of his label's existence. It's rather bland for what I expect from Mugler, but I can appreciate an actual offering of clothing, particularly tailoring which Thierry Mugler always excelled at.

there is enough fashion and enough drag to enjoy in this. So i guess its a successful mugler collection

It was better than Caterpillar’s shows but I’m far from a Mugler convert, if anything it just reminds me how much I’m actually bored by the work of the founder. Nipped waist everything is soooo tiring.

In my alternate dimension it was Montana that had the successful fragrance and got to be remembered.

Wow just seeing this. I think it’s way beyond what I expected. But I’m surprised with L’Oréal budget there was not a big push. As I didn’t see this show on my feeds. It was only Gucci, Versace and Dior.

What’s next for Casey? I thought initially he was leaving for Balmain… but it seems they are keeping OR. So… where is he going?
