btw thank you for struggling with the slooooow connection!![]()
This weekend there was a skipper meeting in Leer and on sunday evening we first took a walk on the promenade alongside the river Leda to watch all the pretty yachts and then we walked through the beautiful Old Town of Leer to get to the "Grand Café" and have some cocktails...
I love this crackling noise that the Kluntjes (those huge sugar "rocks", I'm sure you know them) make when the tea is poured over them...

We always drink loads of tea when we're there; my boyfriend's parents have teatime at least 4 times a day! I love this crackling noise that the Kluntjes (those huge sugar "rocks", I'm sure you know them) make when the tea is poured over them...
We were not so lucky concerning the weather, but considering the fact that we mostly spend our days there sitting in the winter garden being stuffed with cake it was not bad at all!!!
The internet connection was a pain the a.. - but now I'm back home and eager to post some pics for the Nadja nuts!!!
I was with my girlfriend in the Tea Museum in Norden - and they explained what to do and all about the Tea Ceremony in East Frisia (drinking 3 cups in polite
) Kluntjes and Stövchens! We had a great time drinking lots of tea and eating delicious cake - totally LECKER!!!
We were only a short time in Leer - but I remember it was very nice there - there was a lovely promenade and a beautiful old town. I think we went to the Greek restaurant in Leer - do you know it???

And I so love pugs!
Her hair is almost white in those pics
; I guess she can wear just any haircolor...
I always wonder how people manage to learn German - it must be very hard (actually many native speakers struggle with things like Genitiv, Possessivpronomen and Konditionalsätze
).mimi_belle said:Hi blingbling,
