I have a really nice orange-red shimmer polish from OPI, I love it so much... I think it's called "No autographs, please". It's a nice red for us pale folks

Jeebus, I hate Avon polishes. They've got great colours but after some use, the formula hardens quickly inside the bottle... also L'bel (formely Ebel) are horrible, the formula is really weak and they chip instantly.

I hate it when I buy polishes and expect them to be just as great as the rest of the brand's makeup and it turns out to be sh*t.

Is "Waitress"'s colour as great as most users claim it to be?

It was my first and favorite OPI polish I ever bought, but e-v-elina is right, it leans more toward the pink side. A very similar but more red version is Affair In Red Square. It looks like Christmas in a bottle. I couldn't promote it enough! It is amazing.

oo the OPI South Beach Collection looks lovely... i must have "Done out in Deco"!!

I just got the little South Beach sampler pack yesterday from ULTA and it does have Done Out in Deco in it...the warning is that it does go on very grey, however it dries to a dark greyish-lavender. There's no shimmer in it, sadly. The other two colours are Suzi & The Lifeguard and Overexposed in South Beach, both of which are similar to colours I already have (Tijuana Dance and Purpleopolis, respectively).

The deal I got was the summer two-pack-Kyoto Pearl and Teal The Cows Come Home, with a tote, for $5. Haven't tried them yet...I had redone my fingers yesterday morning in Pompeii Purple (must-have) and then you can only do one thing at a time, you know.

I'll admit I hate the look of natural nails without polish, I never leave the house without something on but I also use really cheap nail polish with minimal shine that couldn't last a dish washing but I'd feel guilty buying a $20 bottle of polish.
