that story looks nothing like what i thought it would......

i'm just a bit forlorn because there are no credits for the story...ie- designers...
..really want to know what she used there....


but on another note...
i can't pinpoint a 'style' for her...
other than perhaps some version of rockabilly bohemian grunge..
but always quite 'eccentric'...

but i sort of like that you can't pinpoint it...
i think that is because it is surprisingly original...
which we don't see much of these days...

surprisingly rohde is one of the rare type of stylists who can do men and women still keeping men looking like men and women looking like women. maybe it's not about literal interpretations, but the mood, the essence of the shoots... love that.

thank you, MMA!, such a cute little story.
it's such a bummer to see 2007, 2008 and 2009 all in one page.. I wish she'd go back to 10 and i-D.. her work was so rich and Teen Vogue, although I adore her last contribution, still doesn't seem to 'let her breath' completely.. and her appearances are so sporadic.
