in no way i want to sound mean, but somehow i get this feeling that apart from her talent for styling, Camille is a perfect illustration for a success of a 'tell-me-who-do-you-know-in-this-business' routine. her fame and reputation seem to grow out of being a cool femme hanging out with right people in right places and not as much about her actual work. maybe i just don't know enough about her work. again, not that i want to make any conclusions here.

ps the Diekgerdes' spread is really good. love this retrograde/fluorescent mash-up. and Kate is such an eye-candy. happy she's got more work and professional recognition recently.

i pretty like it as well.
i can tell coz lately : "God, that purple-diary site really hasn't endeared Camille to me..".

but the editorial is pretty good. i could tell it is by her !
she's probably a fan of red (though i guess it's the theme of the story), but i know this is her color scheme (and dear god, i like it) !
i like every item she's chosen in red. love the portrait !
and the girl !

i see she took the AF Vander styling tip (thigh high socks) and i like what she did with Vuitton.

when was it shot ??????? people on the beach ??????? (i think we had some in corsica. so well.). in oct ? so no AF Vander ...

she should try to style a Chloé ad campain or be next Phoebe Philo compain stylist.

has she worked with Chloé ? under whoever.
