narrowed scarf for men

anybody noticed that for next winter...many brands have this kind of "narrowed scarf"? it's good looking...but i feel a little weird that a man wearing a scarf which doesn't keep you warm at all...

Hedi did something similar for dior s/s 04.
I suppose its something between a scarf and a tie. Does it give a slimmer silhouette?!
That particular burberry one posted above would look great with a grey cashmere cardigan and some baggy pants.

I haven't really taken notice of this yet. I'd wear one, I suppose. Although, I'm not much of a scarf person. Anyhow, I certainly haven't seen anyone around here wearing skinny scarves.

i really like this scarf...it's Aquascutum AW0506, but this kind of scarf is just for decoration...
