Born in Liege, Belgium, Natalia Brilli studied at the prestigious Cambre school in Brussels. Straddling the worlds of theatre and fashion, she designed sets and costumes whilst simultaneously collaborating with established fashion designers until, after joining Paris' IFM in 2003, she decided to devote all her energy to her life's passion: fashion accessories.
In 2004 she joined Rochas where she still works to this date. That same year she launched her own label, which was snapped up by Maria Luisa, Browns and Barneys.
These days she is stocked in over 30 countries worldwide.
Appropriating the emblematic codes of classic jewellery, Natalia's pieces have an ethereal presence, monochromatic yet weightless, their essence freed from unnecessary embellishment.
Her inspiration follows the natural rhythm of the seasons without ever forsaking her signature "pearls", and her colour range, limited in the beginning to black, green and purple, now includes pastel tones with natural or metallic finishes.
The darker side to her jewellery, inspired by century Vanity paintings, Victorian era aesthetics and Dario Argento's horror flicks, give rise to beautiful creations that wouldn't look out of place displayed in a Baudelairian cabinet of curiosities.

and everything she does is handmade, btw!!In an enchanted orchard dangerously ripe fruit-bearing trees and intoxicatingly fragrant exotic flowers fill every space with their heady scents and spectacular hues. Perched on branches, nestling under boughs and gambolling across verdant lawns birds of paradise, jewel-coloured insects and menacing reptiles have taken residence in a terrestrial arcadia. In this verdant paradise green hues of firefly, moss and bronze clash with fuchsia, curacao and canary yellow
With her summer 07 collection Natalia Brilli presents us with precious objects that take on the appearance of carnal flowers, insect-necklaces or fruit-bags. With names like Desire and Delight her jewellery hints at hidden pleasures ready to be plucked by a courageous visitor.
Exotic python leather writhes around bracelets and bangles, cabouchon-encrusted evening bags hang full and enticing, wings flutter and bird-skulls thrust from peacock brooches, hairpins and Alice bands. Leather covered feathers, beetles and seed pods all bear the hallmarks of a previous existence that has been re-incarnated in this other-worldly Garden of Eden.
