In the best tradition, Natalia (shortened in Naty) was spotted in the street by a talent scout, as she was strolling around Dnepropetrovsk, her hometown in Ukraine. It was 2008 and she immediately got off on the right foot.
She signed with Model Management in Milan and made her debut on Prada's runway in New York. She immediately became one of the most coveted new models and walked runways for Miu Miu, Anna Sui, Dries Van Noten, Yves Saint Laurent. She was also shot by Steven Meisel for the Calvin Klein Jeans campaign.
She is beloved by photographers as apparently she knows better than other models how to transform according to the needs of the shooting. She has a special feeling with Steven Meisel, who has shot her also for V. Then came features for D, Vogue UK and Vogue Paris, Dazed and Confused. She has been shot, among others, also by Josh Olins, Mikael Jansson, Ben Hassett and Cedric Buchet.
She became the face of Max Mara Weekend, Pantene, Fred Perry. She did fashion shows for DKNY, Marc Jacobs, Costume National, Missoni, Sportmax. She later appeared also on magazine covers: Harper's Bazaar Hong Kong, Marie Claire Italia, Spur, Flair. Emma Summerton has photographed her for Vogue Italia.
She has lived in Milan for a while, then moved to New York, where she has the chance to hang out with model friends like Darya Kurovska, Vlada Roslyakova, Lena Lomkiva.
For Wildfox Couture, photographed by Emir Eralp, she has interpreted a modern and funny Marie Antoinette who leaves Versailles behind and goes on holiday in California with her girlfriends.
She got excellent marks at school; if she hadn't become a model she would have studied medicine.
