She looks absolutely stunning; and just for the record, not only is she Jewish...
but my younger brother, who also happens to be Jewish, shaved his head in the past, and got a great number of Neo Nazi comments. He joked about it himself, and I actually like that she said that.

It looks better than I expected. I find it very professional when actors are willing to significantly change their appearance for a role, like how Alfred Molina gained 50lbs for his role in Frida, lost it all for Spiderman 2, then gained it all back for Fiddler on the Roof.

i have shaved my head many times because i like the feeling and i like very neat, clean looks, if that makes sense. but you don't have to be a famous person to worry about what image you are projecting, es[ecially when hair is such a HUGE part of the perception of femininity.

I shaved my head last year, (bad dye job and thought it best to start all over again fresh) never realised how much cold it would be (even if it was summer), I've not got a nice mullett. Yayness. It's weird how naked you feel without any hair. (bandana girl for a good while, and I too was afraid of how people would perceive me)

yes, i think something like 70% of your body heat rises out through your head, so no hair = cooler body temp. that's why i am always amazed when parents have their babies outside with no hats on in cold weather - babies heads are proportionally so much larger (and most of them are bald) that they lose 90% of their body heat through the head! in summer, i have to be real careful to protect my scalp from the sun, too, when my hair is this short.

there is a website that shows famous actresses with digitally shaved heads! i'm trying to find it again....

right now it isn't completely clean shaven. there is enough hair there for me to brush it into an extreme version of a mia farrow! with enough mascara it's quite a doe-eyed, vulnerable kind of look. it's been purple, orange, blonde...
