Wow, thanks for these! :flower: That's probably the best picture of Lana i've ever seen. It always amazed me how different she looks from Natalie!

Same here bleuFunk. Natalie and Lana look quite different. I think it is in the eyes. Natalie has these big, round, brown luminous eyes whereas I think Lana's eyes look more catlike.

In that picture it does look like Lana has red hair but I'm pretty sure she is a natural brunette. I think it may just be the lighting. All the other pictures of her and movies I have seen Lana in, she has always had brown hair.

I found these beautiful pictures of Lana with Sean Connery from a James Bond movie

she was gorgeous

But I think Nat had a different kind of beauty. Those eyes!

I've heard that Nat's father wasn't the one we all know today. They said that "MUD" (her mother) had an affair with some english guy and he's her real father.....I don't know if it's true.... I don't think so but I guess we will never know.

That is one of my favourite movies!I cry like a baby everytime i watch it!And the end just kills me!Its so sad but life can be like that sometimes!

Did anyone watch the miniseries about Natalies life.I think it was excellent and the actress was amazing!I really enjoied it.The only bio series of a famous person that i liked.
The one about Audery Hepburn was awful!

^yeah it was pretty good - i have it on dvd

i liked how it had photos of natalie throughout and interviews

JOSEPHINE WAS SHE REALLY A GOOD FRIEND OF MARILYN MONROE?
I was surprised to see that!

Yes! that makes it so much real
I loved it
but I don't think Justine Waddell looks like Nat......she looks more like Natasha (Nat's daughter) don't you think?

Justine -

Natasha -

I think she looked like Natalie!Of course she didnt look exactly like Natalie that is just not possible! But she turned the focus on her acting at least for me and boy was she good!

I'm also a big fan of Natalie Wood (love love love the Great Race, I always wanted to be just like Maggie DuBois)!!
Anyway, I have a book of Bob Willoughby, a photographer who also worked on The Great Race. He said that Natalie was quite jealous. Bob was a good friend of Tony and Tony had requested that Bob worked on the picture. When Natalie heard about it, she requested William Claxton to photograph her(another photographer who had worked with Natalie and Steve Mcqueen on their movie together (William Claxton was also a very good friend of Steve Mcqueen and has published a book about Steve Mcqueen (which I also have)). Anyway, according to Bob, Tony (Curtis) loved to tease her (I don'y remember the details, I shall look them up again). When Bob organised a exhibition of his photographs (so the movie would have some extra publicity), Natalie counted the pictures with Tony in them and demanded that she would have an equal amount of pictures with her in them. I don' remember the details, but it wasn't like Bob dissed or anything, but she was (in that period difficult to work with.
She and Steve Mcqueen were good friends, accoding to William Claxton. They consulted each other often during the making of their movie.
