Natalya Piro

i'll have to scan some of them again...
ok this is the best one, her face looks so pretty...
i think i need to take some lessons about scanning...
i'll post more later i'm too sick of it now...
i'm gonna get some lunch and...buy something...;)

^ Thanks so much! Muito muito obrigado! :flower: :flower: :flower:

p.s.
As for the scanning tips, I remember the 4 golden rules Cendres taught me a few years ago, they're still very good imho:

1) scan at 200 dpi, putting a black sheet under the page you're scanning [so that the back of the page doesn't show up in the scan]
2) open the image in your image-retouching program, and apply a softening filter [in my old version of PSP, I use the "Soften" or "Blur" filter]
3) reduce the image [generally, setting 800 pixels width is fine 4 me]
4) slightly modify brightness/contrast to make the image look better [I usually decrease brightness a bit, and increase contrast a bit at the same time]

Lawd, she's got my mouth

She looks like a less dramatic version of Lily Cole. Love the freckles :flower:

She looks like Lily Cole and Heather Mark's lovechild... I didn't even know they were dating  ... ok bad joke:ninja:

But seriously.. Post #2.. the last picture.. she looks like a Cole/Marks hybrid

I actually found that quite funny...at first I thought it was Heather, then I scrolled down and I thought it was Lily! ^_^

p.s.
I thought that maybe you would appreciate a small example...;)

Here we go (I'll use an old scan of mine, with my beloved Natashen'ka Semanova...  ):

1) Here's the raw scan as it came out of the scanner (I had just applied a black papersheet beside the page so as to not let the back of it appear in the scan):

2) Then I applied the "Soften" filter:

3) After that, I resized the scan to a width of 800 pixels

4) Considered that the back of the pic was all clear, I didn't want to decrease brightness (it would have made the back look kinda dirty), so I rather played a bit with the "Highlight/Midtone/Shadow" tool. In the end I set Highlight to "95", Midtone to "45" and Shadow to "10". And here's the final result:

One of those gorgeous scanmasters would have done of course much much better, but I still think it's a pleasant scan to look at, anyway...

Just open up the imageshack site, then click the "browse" botton, find the pic you want to upload from your computer, than click "open" and then again "host it!". And it's done, after that you get the codes to post the uploaded image (to make a clickable thumbnail for this forum, copy the code from the 2nd field and paste it in the message body here).

The problem is, imageshack doesn't allow uploads bigger than 1024 kb, so you'll need to reduce the pic on your comp before uploading it...

I had this feeling that I had already seen her face somewhere long ago...and browsing through my HD I finally found!
I had found around two years ago some pics of a beautiful redhaired from a russian agency. The name of the girl was "Natalia Sidorova", but imho it's definitely her. ^_^
Btw, I just checked and the pics are still there, and she's also featured with that name by an agency of Odessa, the town where she was born.
Here's the links:

thanks! i wonder how her name went fron Sidorova to Piro

First thing I can think of, is that maybe she married a guy called "Pirozhkov"...or maybe again, one of the two is her mum's last name and she decided to use it...

new pics of nataliya piro

the first two pics are from a french store (Printemps) ad; the others are from an ad campaign for a french ready-to-wear brand called Maje...
Hope you'll enjoy them !!
We have some others of Natalyia from german magazines and will post them soon ( if our PC allows it ...)

Thanks a lot mariemaud! :flower:

I hope you don't mind, but I thought it was better to just cut away all those white spaces leaving only the pics, here they are:
