Natasha Poly

i was just about to post that post from #988 but you beat me to it vladita!

i have a question about that post though...

when i translated, it says this...

Natasha Poly is part of the cast of "Popular Girls", a documentary on Paris Premiere, and that we could discover a bonus number from June / July 2010 Vogue Paris

anybody knows what that means? is it the "les filles en vogue" thing or is it another thing?

Yeah, I think it's something like the Les Filles en Vogue movie. Sounds interesting nonetheless!

@ mexcrazyjes: Hehehe! Early birds catch the fresh worms.^_^

Yeah! It's referring to that documentary. I just liked the way they introduced her. Coming from Vogue Paris <which nowadays, based on fashion critics and blogs, is becoming more and more credible than its other Vogue counterparts, you know what I mean> Nata solidified her status as an icon. :D

for those who were wondering.... this is the Vogue Australia October 2008 cover. And it was actually just a reprint of an earlier Nippon cover, but still- she's been on the cover of our Vogue before!

Well, it's good to remember that she was a brunette earlier, actually. The shade might have been a little lighter, but still.

Anyway, I couldn't be happier for this change. It's so exciting to wait for the new editorials with her now!

ughh . Iam soo dying to see her New Hair color
without the Hideous Givenchy Styling :ninja:

This is Natasha's first Vogue Australia cover from October 2004:

Wow, i'm loving the new hair colour, it just brings out all of her features nicely. I'm happy with the change.

i've never seen those two vogue covers...

to say the truth, i rather have a vogue turkey cover now that is good, than an italian vogue cover...

^Thats is, obviously personal preference, but we all know Vogue Italia is more influential, its Steven Meisel for crying out loud, could you please elaborate why you would prefer Vogue Turkey ? its just, for me, it doesn't add up to much success IMHO, if she got a Vogue Turkey cover

I totally agree. Vogue Turkey is still fairly new and I dont think it should be compared to Vogue Italia which is pretty much iconic. VI is VI ! I categorize Vogue Turkey with the editions of Portugal and Greece..:innocent:

I agree too. Natasha getting a Vogue Italia cover would be more of a triumph, than getting a Vogue Turkey cover. Although I do like what Vogue Turkey is doing at the minute.
Who knows? Maybes Meisel will take a liking for Natasha, with her being brunette. It has given her a whole new appeal. It's opened up new possibilities, for sure.

Is just, VI is great, but it has yet to happen. And to me, it has lost of it's appeal for covers... nothing is that great anymore but the recent one with MCB... and Vogue Turkey is coming up with great covers recently. And their beautiful. But all in all, I would still love if Natasha had a VI cover, but it would seriously get me so mad if it wasn't a flattering one..

By now, I don't care if she gets a no flattering cover, I just want her VI cover
And lets hope this new hair brings wonderful things for her future
