I was thinking the other day of how Natasha was one of those models who used to get so many runway shows including opening and closing them. Does anyone know if she was on a direct booking for runway shows or went to the castings?

She's at a point in her career that means she only walks for designers who invite her, she's not a new girl, she has been in this industrie for a decade now, and established herself as one of the best models, one that managed & still manages to stay relevant, that in my eyes will have longevity like Naomi, Claudia or Gisele!
New models are the ones who need to walk 50 something shows to be known and have editorial work, the best models and that know how this industrie works given their experience, fame and household name, walk exclusively, simple.
p.s. Luigi said that was waiting for Natasha in Paris, hope it's something for Vogue Paris!

From her opening Prada last season, to appearing at Marc's final Vuitton show, some magazine covers and ads, usually my wishful thinking is right, my I say it again, usually....
Let's hope I'm right once again
...otherwise I will be very sad, because Natasha is the one who really deserves it 
And Steven only likes to use Natasha, lately, for pine-up themed shoots, like Prada SS12, 'Flash', that corny named Jimmy Choo Fragrance, but Natasha has such a huge range of personalities that she can portray and embody, like those Phi ads that I didn't even remembered, she looks sooooooo good there!

US Vogue cover would be brilliant! And now Natasha deserves to be on the cover 'cover' not the fold-out because comparing to the 2009 issue, and models nowadays, she is the one who still gets plenty of work, press, ads and covers, and she's been in this industry for 10 years, the new girls have 1/2 successful years and then their status starts decreasing, and the models from 2009 are still going strong but apart from Raquel, Liya, Natalia, Lara and Isabeli, but they can't snag eds and covers like Natasha, her status only gets stronger, and I know for sure Vogue editors took note of Natasha's glorious comeback, by opening the show for the brand they love and use the most. Let's cross our fingers!
Natasha was shooting something with Sasha today in NYC...makes the Meisel speculation even more plausible! I don't want to get my hopes up just yet though. She certainly deserves a VI cover!
And this is really just my crazy mind speculating, but maybe US Vogue is doing something for September with all the recent model mothers--it'd make a little sense since both Natasha and Sasha gave birth in the near past and also some of the rumors include Gemma, who had her baby a little while ago too. Am I just grasping for straws? Lol...

No ideia is too crazy, because we are constantly surprised in fashion.
When I saw the photo on Instagram it came to my mind Pirelli, it's a project that takes a lot of weeks to put together to fit with the girls schedules, or it could be something for US Vogue, because since Mario Testino posted Natasha's photo I'm thinking that US Vogue has felt in love once again with Natasha, since they saw her rise once again by opening Prada, in my mind this could also mean a studio shoot with Craig McDean for US Vogue ... oh well, we could be all night speculating, unfortunately we have to wait, but it could mean many things, also that 'mom idea' is really good, maybe a cover story and the main ed about how the young models lives have evolved since they came out on the scene, that could be also a good arrange of ideas
