Natasha Poly

Might as well add these girls to the list of her fans. Thanks again to Luca:

Frida Aasen

Favorite model of all time: Natasha Poly.

Vanessa Moody

HB: Are there any models in the industry you look up to?

VM: Natasha Poly (obviously, how could you not?), and Rosie Huntington Whiteley (as she's managed to transition beyond the normal confines of modeling).

Irina Sharipova

When I was young, I always looked at Google and said, “I want to be like her.” I always looked up to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, an Indian model. She’s amazing, really beautiful. And Natasha Poly; she’s sexy and also a high-fashion girl.

thank you for the pictures guys. Does anyone have Natasha's interview for Glamour?

I'm sorry to say this because I love Natasha but Glamour editorial is really underwhelming. There a few good shots, but most are unfortunate and awkward. Especially the one where she's holding that red flower next to her face. But I'm sure she'll be producing more amazing editorials in no time.

Glamour is more of a commercial than a high fashion magazine. Same goes for their editorials, doesn't mutter how hard they try. Natasha herself still looks great IMO!

I think it is pretty safe to say that out of all the girls from her generation (Trentini, Onopka, Roslyakova, Donaldson...etc), she ended up having the most successful and lasting career. I can't believe it's been 11 years since she started and she is still on a roll.

I will never get how American Vogue and Anna Wintour did not support much her career and specially gave her a miss on their May 2007 cover about the next supermodels, they clearly were not forecasting well who were the models that were really going to take over, specially pointing at Natasha not being a part of it.

It's actually quite funny how even if she's not included in those forecasted next Supermodels for the May 2007 US Vogue cover, her explosion happened 4 months later. Covered 3 September 2007 Vogue covers(Paris, Russia, Hellas), killed runway as 1st face for SS08 (continued for 2 more consecutive seasons) and come campaign season nabbed a Gucci Exclusive contract. She clearly was the biggest non-addition to that Vogue edition.

Anna probably didn't want to touch Natasha that time as she was highly favoured by/favorite of Carine. She is the only model I'm aware of who was able to cover both the March and September covers in the same year for Vogue Paris. For the entire 2008 she didn't cover VP, by May 2009 she landed a US Vogue cover. Her next cover for VP was April 2010. Hmmm is there a connection in there somewhere?

I guess you can also add Stam, Freja, Doutzen and Sasha on her generation. Plus she also started out almost the same time as Gemma.

By the looks of it, her career trajectory is going the Natalia/Daria route. Hopefully.

So glad she's working with Steven Klein again!!

^Portrait series supporting the limited edition of Alexander Wang for Do Something.org capsule collection. Which 100% of net proceeds of the pieces support this campaign helping the largest global organization for social change among young people. They include Kim Kardashian, Kanye, Joan etc... many many people.

Thanks  After I posted the question here I actually looked it up and started the thread for the entire campaign. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this onl the 3rd time she worked with Klein? Vogue Paris Cover May 2004, Dolce & Gabbana Campaign SS07 and this?

I know it's a fragrance for men, but I wish Natasha had gotten more screen time in that commercial. She looks stunning!

No, she has worked with him other times for editorials but nothing bigger and not more than that.

New L'Oreal campaign featuring John Legend, Naomi Watts, Eva Longoria, Julianne Moore, Doutzen Kroes and Blake Lively, Natasha Poly, Jane Fonda,....

She looks amazing! Especially in that Saint Laurent shirt. She's got that grunge-chic vibe on lock.
