Goodness, even in candid photos she takes of herself, Natasha's beauty shines.

Have you guys seen the latest Gucci campaign, with Anja and Karmen? How terrific would it of been to have seen Natasha fronting the collection.. major disappointment. It would have been a complete fashion-eruption of pure glamour and sophistication. I was going to mention it over at Ad Campaigns, but I thought I'd make a discussion of it over here, with fellow Poly enthusiasts.
 
I can't believe Fei Fei Sun(and many other models) got her first VI cover before Nash. :huh::unsure:
 
the topic about Natasha vs. VI isn't relevant to me anymore, maybe 2-3 year ago .. then yes. Natasha Poly is now in a new phrase - an ICON. How many models came from her generation have more Vogue covers than she has ? She's been in the business for 10 years or so and keep on booking job after job. Doesn't that say something to you ? She doesn't need that VI that desperate. Any photographers or clients would be please and lucky enough to work with her as if now. she's a legendary, so recognized. I hope for the year of 2013, she'd continue on being fabulous and maybe a baby !! :)

I think the term icon is overused on these forums. Kate Moss is an icon. She's a style icon to just about everyone and her outfits influence people around the world. Someone on the street would know of Kate Moss. But Natasha Poly? I don't think so. Hey, don't get me wrong I love Natasha, she's an outstanding model, my most favourite and deserves everything that comes her way. Natasha's an icon within the fashion industry, is that you were meaning?

The whole Vogue Italia discussion comes up just about every season, a discussion I take time to read and participate in. There must be something that's hindering her chances. Maybe Franca Sozzani isn't fond of her? Natasha's been cast before, but there's a difference between an appearance and snagging the front cover. It's blatant that Steven Meisel is a fan, shooting her for the Jimmy Choo fragrance and multiple other jobs. The thing about Italian Vogue and Meisel is that their both often so predictable.. so I'm always expectant of something great to come of Natasha and Meisel's relationship.

I do hope the Jimmy fragrance marked a new start between Meisel and Natasha relationship, and to be honest I really don't care or mind about Natasha Poly is not being the favorite one of France Sozzani or Anna Wintour. As much as I respect and adore those two powerful women, I still know for sure that Natasha will be fine without their help. As a fan, SURE I'd love to see her snatch a VI cover since she has done many other countries, but "keep whining about it" is not helping :doh:
 
is it me or does she resemble kate bosworth in that picture? either way it's gorgeous
