Hi, I'm 20 and I live in the UK
I'm sick to death of Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Zara (everything falls apart), H+M etc
I'm trying to get into the habit of buying better quality clothes, and trying to dress a little older and smarter, whilst still being casual and not too formal
However, I dont have tons of money. My idea of spending more money on a top means £50-60 rather than the £20-30 in Topshop.
I look at sites like Net-A-Porter and love it all, but couldnt afford anything else, ie food if I spent money on there.
I was wandering around Bluewater today and realised that there is a quite distinct price and quality gap between high st and designer. I know there are places like Coast and Jigsaw, but they are quite conservative and although I could pick up some staple pieces from those shops, I feel that there must be somewhere a little trendier? Or that offers some more interesting pieces?
What am I missing?
I've tried looking at vintage things, and have had a few finds, but its not really my thing
Any suggestions?
