New York City dress shopping

Hey!

I'm going to NYC next weekend and I unfortunatly have very little time to shop, but I really need to find a great dress for prom (cocktail style)

Any suggestions on where I can find a lot of great stuff in one place? A department store? If so, which one?

lord and taylor is sort of famous for its dress dept...but i haven't gone in ages...
i would also say saks or bloomingdales...
probably bloomingdales for prom...
or maybe even bendels.. the selection is smaller...but maybe more unique...

i went to bloomingsdales and found my dress! i beleive if you don't find it there, you won't find it anywhere! they have hundreds of gorgeous dresses.
