New York City eyewear

I just had my prescription glasses swiped and need a new pair. Any recommendations on where I can go which has a good selection. Thanks.

I plan on hitting up Oliver Peoples and Disrespectacles.

Alain Mikli does the best eyewear IMO. I think he has a shop in NYC, not sure about the location.

i get mine at myoptics on st marks/2nd AVE...
the people who work there are amazing...
and they will re-adjust your frames at no charge whenever needed...

they even custom-made a pair for me...
with my name on the inside...

i LOVE them...
they have a great selection...imo...
