New York Fashion Week Open To Public

I don't understand why anyone would want to watch an NYC show for entertainment. NYC to me is more towards the strictly business side and if you're not business or some sort of celebrity, there's really no reason to go. Change this to Dior and you'd probably get different reactions. In general it seems weird to charge for a fashion show as I think it's impossible to put a proper price on something that's priceless.

This is going to cause an UPROAR during NYC fashion week

I really don't see what's so wrong with this. As Casius said, we wait around on our computers for show pictures, so why not pay a bit of money to see a show in person? While NYC shows are generally pretty boring clothes-wise, you still get to experience a fashion show, something most of us can't do.

Yeah but, you could, like, see celebrities and stuff!!!:lol:

Why do I feel like this is the first round of a whole new IMG produced show thing when they move to Chelsea Piers or wherever... You know, like how the sponsors and fat cats get tickets to Superbowl parties and all, see your favorite star across a room full of 500 other suckers so you can tell everyone at your country club back in Ohio how you had "dinner" with a big star and the assistant manager at the local Kohl's can say "Well, when I had dinner in New York last week with Anna Wintour..." ;)

Well i dunno if I lived in Ny i'd probably do it but unfortunately I don't, I like in Canada Lol...It'll be just amazing visiting The Big apple, let alone live there and go to fashion week..but I don't really have any NY based favorite designers or any that I like lol..But I will go to 1 anyways & to see all my favorite models on the runway it'll just be nice to experience being at a real fashion show ..

fashion has some so far...
so far from what it was...
so crass and commercial and so sickening...
:yuk:

This takes 15 minutes and is not that exciting from a skybox at all.

Apparently I'm not very good at reading because I just saw that it's in a skybox. That'd suck. Not worth the money at all...I'd much rather be in the normal seats.

I'd hate to be in the box, too. It's like you're being singled out as the group of
pitiful people who had to pay.
