Thanks you for those screencaps IcePrincess! Nicovelvet, i don't think any of the pictures from that book have been posted except for the ones that you posted, at least not that big.

I tought that one movie looked horrible and i don't think it will come out because like odelay said they've been talking about it forever! I was looking forward to the one with Tilda Swinton because i know she's a good actress and even though she doesn't really look like Nico i think she'd do a good job. Does anyone else think Cate Blanchett looks like Nico? I think she'd be a good Nico because she's a good actress as well.

There have been youtube links posted with Nico's part in Factory Girl and The Doors, i think they're a couple pages back.

I agree,Cate Blanchett would be a FABULOUS Nico-it's not so much that she looks like her but Cate can morph into anything.And she is an interesting looking,tall,slender but strong icy blonde.She also looks like nobody's fool-just like Dear Nico.I wish this would happen,I think it could have promise.

oh my god, that poster is so cool! I remember Nico's midnight horror show or whatever being mentioned in popism, but I've never heard of it anywhere else. damn, it would be so cool if there were still copies of that floating around!

I e-mailed Lisa Law and asked her where the Castle was because i couldn't find an address anywhere, so next time you're in the area you should check it out! Here's what she said...

It is on Glendower off of Vermont in the las Feliz area. If you go to the Frank Loyde Wright castle it is just in front of it. Forgot the number. Getty owns the castle now.

I am confused when you are talking about the Castle... I thought/think that the Castle mentionned where Nico stayed with the Velvet (and met Morrison) is the hotel Château Marmont in L.A. Are we talking about the same place?

The place where Nico and the Velvet's stayed was called the Castle. It's a big house where rock bands would stay when they were in LA. Bob Dylan had a room there. It's also where Nico and Morrison met. Edie stayed there, too. It was owned by Jack Simmons who was James Dean's best friend. Nico stayed there for a summer in 1967 while she had her fling with Jim Morrison. I think she met the Getty Museum but i'm not sure. The Chateau Marmont looks like a Castle but it's not the Castle.

Thank you for that picture odelay! She looks georgeous! It looks like it's from the same shoot as the picture that's on the cover of The Frozen Borderline, do you think it is?
