Nicole Miller S/S 06 New York

It seems to me like she is a little late on the volume "trend". Most designers expirimented with that last season...

volume will continue for at least two more seasons, trends dont move on as quickly as you think ;)

on the whole looks like a decent mass market collection (i dont really know much about nicole miller, she obviously hasnt 'register' in my hard disk), something any decent high street label could make some bucks from.

in that sense, i dont particularly hate it, its bland but its not hideous
but for sure this is not really 'designer' material since it certainly doesnt add anything fresh or particularly creative to the map

mrDale, thanks for the pics and the topic

Pretty dresses but I'm not too fond of those unflattering weird shaped skirts.

I don't know what to say about it really, it's just very blah. Not horrible, but boring and uninspired. A couple of the dresses are nice, but nothing really grabs my attention. It's all been done before, but I'm sure her clients will keep coming.

I can't decide whether I love or hate the colour combinations. Overall it's an ok collection...I like the volume but how many women can wear that trend?

It's decent but not for a designer. Where's the creativity? Isn't designer clothing suppose to be unique and individual.. why would I buy this when I can get the exact same at any lower end store? There are a few nice pieces, but nothing I'd spend my money on.

Many empire belts and wastes. Typical Nicole Miller... I don't mind the collection.

The dresses are very wearable and I like the colors a lot. I never count on this label to be "creative" and so what she showed is alright with me:-)

I like this, as commercial as it is, and the models look fab. That Jennifer girl (last name not shown) looks like a prettier version of Heather Marks.

the dresses are pretty nice, but the big loud prints are not really my flavour
