Its a contest that scouts for models around the continent to get a finalist...the face of africa. Previous winners include Oluchi, Ramatoulaye Dialo, Nombulelo and Benvinda Mudenge whose careers didnt do as well as Oluchi though!

They have a website with daily updated, profiles and pix and here are the contestants.

theres a weird twist though, both kenya and uganda have been winners of their country;s pageants with miss uganda(miss world) and miss kenya(miss universe). i posted some photos of kenya in the miss universe thread and many people responded very positively. she also did an ad for Nivea you can see it in the thread for cosmo kenya
