'Nu-Rave'

I think it is a trend that is cool to start, as when it still looks fresh, but following it, buying suitable items from high street, that is lame.

because it is so outrageous, it is only cool when it looks new and fresh.

the runway look looks is good.. it will look really urgh if all of it are mixed up like rubbish.

uh no thank you!
although christopher kanes dress from a couple of seasons ago
all i gott say is "omg i want every dress from that collection"

but other then that
i think it's overboard klaxons

I actually love Klaxons! Looking forward to their next CD and how different it'll be (I expect).

I was introduced to nu-rave in England the summer before last (right when nu-rave was beginning to fade away I think) when I went there on holiday. I was fully expecting the trend to bleed into North American style a bit, but I'm not sure it did. I suppose a bit of nu-rave is incorporated into scene style, though.

Is nu-rave still alive on the streets of the UK by any chance? Just wondering :flower:

actually whenever i see those people i think they look like so much fun to have with

I used to like this for a brief period (getting my music from fluokids and taking inspiration from dirtydirtydancing). I still love some of the music (prefer the older electroclash to the bloghouse though), and the attitude. Went to see Justice live and everyone there was JUST there to have FUN. But it gets old and stale pretty fast and not a very lasting trend.

I love the new rave style! I think it's young, fun, and everybody plays to be themselves openly, Gotta love the new rave.

OK, it's still a huge thing in London? I'm not much of a clubber, but the two-three times I'ev been to a club in London, everyone was wearing 'new rave' stuff. I felt bliiiinded, I tell you. :p

I quite enjoy the new rave style. Although I prefer it more when its toned down and not so loud

okay, this is very similar with our clubbing outfit here, in singapore, far away frm england.
*still think it's the same thing @_@
and it'd been arnd there for a while too. *for some ppl i guess.
