This is the first time in ages that I got this before seeing the eds here, so I was expecting to be suprised, but I'm sad to say that this issue of Numero is not that good, I have a feeling I've already seen it many times before. Sure the Gereg Kadel studio close up cover shot of Suvi is good; sure Devon looks good riding a horse in nature; sure Missy looks good in the desert-Akrans; shure Tanya looks good all glammed up before Horst Diekegerdes' lens, and the dramatic settings and shadows of the Luciano Val & Franco Musso/Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello are nice and seeing Lagerfelds darlings in the couture ed is not bad, but the problem is that I've seen it al before! A shame really.

well at least you have saved Solve's ed That's one of his greatest virtues, he hasn't really got a style, so he doesn't repeat himself.
I guess you're right, but the fact is that I like the style of Luciana & Franco, Camilla Akrans, etc enough to be satisfied with their eds for quite a few more years, and sometimes they even surprise me, not in terms of style, but maybe a composition that you really like, playing with the light, shadows or whatever.
But it's true that someday they'll have too change... if they don't want to end up like Hans Feurer, doing exactly the same thing since the 70's.

In a sense I agree with you because it is getting repetitive I still like Numero and I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Meghan Collison's ed, LA CAPTIVE, reminds me a lot of Bettie Page, a surrealistic Bettie Page . I guess that was their inspiration hence the name captive...
