Off-White F/W 2021.22 Paris

Lol poor Bella both her looks were riding up on her as she was strutting.

Another uninspired, poorly tailored collection.

I could see Rosè from RPDR paying in full for some of those boxy dresses though (Joan’s dress being one of them).

I find the collection bland, but I did find this look on Candice kind of beautiful. I know, I’m surprised myself.

I like the purple and the black suit in menswear and the womens yellow. The rest isn't inspiring

Just when I thought it couldn´t get worse...here is Virgil to prove again that I am wrong!!

That orange blazer full of puckered seams, and that armhole which looks like is too tight...:hardhead:

For as much as there’s always going on in his clothes and collections…there’s really never anything worthwhile. A lot of stuff…and way too serious…even when he’s “playful” it’s so damn serious.

A bore, sick of bucket hats and that Home Depot orange of his that keeps popping up everywhere. I've already said so much about his work but to keep it brief: another collection chock-full of gimmicks but totally empty of soul.

I am tired of seeing this sh*t every season. With the LV money he could at least try to improve the technical execution.
Georgina looks rough. She should ask Kate for her surgeon's contact info.

Horrible construction, abhorrent textiles, and a precise lack of direction. Looks like another Off-White collection to me!!!! How can anyone seriously applaud such a dismal display of design? From the riding crotch look, to the ill-fitting jackets and dresses, wearing these looks would guarantee discomfort for anyone brave enough to dawn such unenthused pieces. He is going to get credit online for opening the show with Bella. She is the most popular “it girl” of this generation and I am so annoyed I have to witness such blatant disregard for creation on my Twitter feed.

I feel embarrassed for Virgil and his team at this point. It goes so far beyond the fact that he clearly has challenges producing anything worthwhile. I would strong suggest he go back to designing t-shirts and hoodies. No disrespect at all but if this is his best effort and he is comfortable showing this poor level of work, fine, continue to humiliate yourself. At least with the streetwear he can push an easy product to the masses and pad his bank account.

Fashion deserves this for propping him up and adorning him with praise. As we all just saw with Alaia, when you hire and promote stylists and marketers as designers, the results speak for themselves.

*just talking about womens:

a lot of the silhouettes are taken from one of the Margiela collections 2010-2012 (too lazy to look up which one)

otherwise you guys already made the comments :D

While the show was pretty boring, I feel most brands at the moment are just looking to sell pieces for a while to cover up the decline in profit over the past year. Like the announcer in the show said, it was all about the 'vibe' and the feeling of being in bougie events like Art Basel. So I think the whole collection was just catered to that crowd and the parties they throw. It wasn't a fun collection, but it was definitely a very safe collection from a business standpoint

 and that's cool, but can you imagine, in any area of industrial design, staging a huge and expensive presentation during one of those annual fairs or festivals or conventions where you pay to see the latest of the latest in terms of design in that very field, and having some company turn up like 'uh, I know this looks exactly like a 2012 Prius, but this is a Prius with graffiti on it, making you a part of the streets, but without the filth of actually being on the streets, and uh, well, this is for the people that come to our parties, you know the vibes.. if you know you know..'. What kind of subpar level of general education would one need to then nod at the product and at such an explanation haha. It really goes from hidden camera comedy to something quite.. fraudulent that's only tolerated in fashion thanks to its leech subservience culture.. and of course, not really fair for the people that could bring something new to the table.. and those of us who know there has to be better (still to come!) and just kind of have to wait out this phase full of scammers devouring, appropriating, repackaging and reselling the ideas of others. I know it can't be long before it dies down, but.. seriously WHEN.. ⏳

Do not care for the clothes or the lack of craftsmanship but I must say I enjoyed the casting.
