It was a dumpster fire when this brand started and it is still a dumpster fire after Virgi's demise.
 
This approach would certainly strengthen their brand imo.
I find it so pretentious to want to enter the Couture Arena when there’s no Infrastructure or passion to it. Even more if it’s to do awful cakes made out of tulle.

Maybe what they could develop is something similar to Balenciaga. An elevated version of Streetwear that can work for stage as well. Jeans made out of cashmere, sneakers in exotic skin, tshirts made in leather, hoodies in embroidered chiffon… why not.

But to force a brand that sells branded products to make gowns is ridiculous.
