I just found out that a review I wrote on L'Oreal Fashion Week for an indie Toronto magazine has been up on the official website since March! haha I just stumbled across it yesterday! I am very excited and just had to share and see if maybe I could get some feedback as it was the second review I had written for the magazine so my amateurism probably oozes through the lines. I have also just been offered a position to head the fashion section for another mildly popular magazine in Toronto, this one isn't indie. In fact, it's been around for many many years as a successful tourist handbook, letting people know what's hot in Toronto and what's not. It's not a dream gig but it's certainly a step up the ladder. Sorry for babbling I'm just super excited and thought that I would share the news.

You can find the review at http://lorealfashionweek.ca
Click on “Press” and my review should be the last one on the list entitled “Filth Mag”

congrats! It would be great if some canadian publications weren't years behind the times with terrible stiff writing! But would a tourist publication restrict you? Would they make it quite marketable and mainstream?

Most likely, I'lll be very restricted. I would have to keep the stuff as local as I can but I'm not so worried about that. I am just content with the fact that I'm on my way to building that resume of mine as I am doing many other things on the side. Thanks for the congrats guys :D

I'm actually in the process of starting a venture with a Canadian organization. I have a meeting on Wednesday. If all goes well, this 'venture' is going to be of GREAT service to fashion students in Canada and hopefully, expanding to the States over the years as well. Wish me luckkkkk!

good luck though I'm sure you don't need it!

you reviewed Zoran Dobric by accident..hehe

i was helping out backstage that night for him. he's cool. i love some of his pieces. not saying the others are bad, but just not really my style.
i was interning in the company he was working for...so

btw. you said robin kay worn his silver dress. is this after the show was finished?
cause i remember being backstage and hearing something about this 'important' woman taking some pieces from the collection.

Yup, it was after the show. It was most likely her, I can't think of anyone at the event who could be considered more 'important' than her. :lol:She's like my Lindsay Lohan... minus the drug problem.

I don't get it, what do you mean by accident? I meant to review Zoran lol, it was a great show.

really? you wrote that you were suppose to see the JUMA show but the show time got mixed up and they replaced juma with zoran

maybe i got mixed up. hehe
