I don't think that's Oscar de la Renta's drift but I'll stick to your comparison and probably warm up to it with a clearer image.. it makes a lot more sense than popular vs. unpopular, commercial vs. non-commercial or any other BS that's promoted here like two freakin' models can be from two separate planets.it looks a little Cruel Intentions, and if that is the case and they pulled it off, I am probably going to like that.

Now, I know this is Oscar de la Renta and his conservative dressing and conception of femininity is popular among American socialités but I've seen him done better while sticking to his guns.. presenting his beautiful and traditional clothes in a context and through design that's modern and aimed at women that look modern too and not just pretty and lazy, 2001 w/ Caroline Ribeiro, 2008 w/ Raquel Zimmerman.. and it's not about the models, you can achieve similar if not better results with the current cast, he just needs to get his act back together when it comes to campaigns..
