Like much of Oscar’s work, it’s a collection drenched in YSL-isms: The use of color, the huge skirts, dramatic ruffles, turbans and other exotic accessories and motifs. It does have a very important factor in its favor which is the easy way in which the models wear it all, no matter how crazy the outfit gets, and the latin joyfulness which irradiates from the collection. YSL was always much more self serious.
