Ouija Boards

We have an ouija board in our house that is actually passed down from many years ago. I think it was from the 30's/40's. It's real old looking and kind of adds to the creepiness of it. Anyways, when I was younger around 12 or 13 I would use it with my friends. My mom always told me to respect it and not fool around with it (she's not a wack or anything, I guess it's just what she was always told as a kid). I noticed when I used it with friends that took it seriously, it would work quickly and spell out clear messages but when my friends who would giggle and fool around with it used the board it would take forever and just spell out random words. I really don't know what to believe about it. I guess it is possible that the user subconsciously spells out what they want to see but sometimes the eye piece would move so fast that I swear there's no way that anyone could be doing it mentally. I sure don't think I would use one today...

my mom taught me how to play with it when i was a kid and in junior high school i was in charge of bringing it to school for my friends, i ended up in the principal's office a couple times for that.
i dont play it anymore cause i gave it to a friend as a gift, secretly, i was trying to get rid of it, weird things started happening in my house, i know everyone will think i'm making this up but we probably played too much with it and during the night i'd hear things and once i felt like someone sat next to me in my bed i decided i didnt like being nervous so i gave it to my friend... getting rid of it wasnt like getting rid of the 'curse', just the temptation cause we'll eventually play it :p .

i read this japanese book that said that when people get scared they send out these vibes that attract other energies, and i really believe on that..i think if you're playing that ouija thing so focused something will eventually reply..when i'd try it with my friends it was all really stupid cause they'd laugh too much and ask who likes who and puberty type of things but it was great when taken seriously and respecting the mean of communication. the kind of questions i wanted to know where all religion related so it's no longer an issue for me, not that i've figured it out but i just dont want to know anymore

I dont care if they work or not, i dont dabble in the occult.

One of my friends wanted to do when we were younger but my bud and i walked away. My friend who came up with the idea thought it was all fake, thats what her mother told her, but she never went through with it thankfully.

My friend had a bad experience with this.... called up a spirit and it made a beer bottle move involuntarily and it smashed him in the head and he had to go to hospital!
