gosh i missed this thread!
im going to be experimenting once i get the hang of my new camera (my first slr! ) and hopefully will post something soon.

everyone here is soo amazing

 

A series I did last year. It was inspired by Irving Penn.



Sorry if the images are too big! I haven't figured out how to resize them yet.

 

Finally had a chance to really try out my camera. I decided to go with some brightly coloured paint that I have on my black desk and a piece of tissue. The cross is a necklace I have hanging on my wall too.

 

In the city of Cajamarca in Perú, blue shades are in Vogue for country and city woman. I was walking along the city today and found so wonderful woman in the streets.

Here are some pics by me, they are all taken in my city: Cajamarca (in Perú)

I wish I had a camera of my own and keep taking photos wich is something I adore, but they are so expensive here.

Right now I am afraid to borrow my friend's cameras to take pictures, but here are some I could take.

"Eyes of beautiful sight"
He is a man who sells that little spoons, little baskets and kitchen things in Christmas, his name is Segundo.


"Gina"
She is a girl in my city who has beautiful eyes.


"Danae"
She is a girl who celebrated her birthday and I took pictures of her.


"La Recoleta"
I adore this church, his story is wonderful and there my mother had her last goodbye when she died.


"Karen"
I imagined to Karen in that long road and one day I realized that dream.


"Stone and pacience"
That's my city, made of volcanic stone and a precious sky.


"That beautiful carnival songs"
In carnival my city is all parties, tradicional songs and everyone gets out to sing, dance, and celebrate Carnival in our fun and tradicional way.

Er, I took this picture for a flyer I made for carnival, I loved the light in that place that night...
