OK, ladies, I was delighted to read your posts on fall 04 trends. Now, I would like to see your oppinions on what will not be in fashion anymore. My guess is low waist trousers and skirts. But, apart from that, what else?

skirts are not out of fashion thats for sure..

i think lack of personal style is what will make all the difference,
basically everything can be in 'fashion'
if there is enough 'personal style' involved ;)

I think "skirts" refers to low waisted skirts, not skirts in general.

Skirts are certainly everywhere!

Same for me :flower:

Pink is my favorite color, and I'm confused as to where you got the idea that it's out?!

Think of guys who look like they should be in The Strokes and you'll get the idea...

Got it, thanks softgrey and HBoogie!
My guess is that look is going to be around for a while... it has been lingering for years.

Come to think of it, I am a little confused. I hope and pray that the army trend is over, but avery now and then I see it on runways on Fashion Tv. Please, tell me that it is over!

khaki's are a bit off, but attention there is a new millitary trend on the rise (think generals not soldiers)

i would also say pink is NOT over guys, its still quite there for fw04.05
like a certain top glabal fashion trend agency put it, "pink is THE new classic" it will be here for ages (in all its hues and tones is going to be quite evident even for ss05 ) invest in your pinks, but wear them with a wink ;)

Khakis are back? Goddamnit! They should be TAKEN back where they belong: t the military camps. What are they but a reminder of violence and more or less 'humanitary' attacks?

 khakis are NOT back but they are still a few out there

the new military trend has nothing to do with khakis... its more in the shapes (double breasted, metal buttons, belts and medallions) as i said, think army general not army soldier :P

Thank u, Lena. Things may not lok as bad as I thought, after all.

Khakis are the uniform of the People's Army Of Corporate Casual.

Go into any "Business Casual," "Casual Dress," "Office Casual" office, and you will see more products of GAP and Dockers than you could ever imagine you'd have laid your eyes on.

For the record, I may be an office lackey, but I don't wear khakis. *I* am beige. It looks like I haven't got any pants on, just really baggy, wrinkly skin. Eeeurgh!
