The best thing about the Gucci dress besides the dress itself are the pink stockings! Fabulous!

Anderson´s copy looks like a deflated big baloon fell over the poor model!
I actually like that he interpreted the dress in to a parka it just gives it so much more wearability and plus I’m sure it’s styled better opens than. Closed.
For me the Grès one is very "When I ordered it at Aliexpress"; and the Loewe one is totally "When it arrived"...

Lanvin S/S 2021 - Balenciaga S/S 2006
What I like about the Lanvin/Balenciaga comparison is that Nicolas' dresses still look modern and fresh while the Lanvin designer's looks are instantly dated.
those lanvins are inspired by Jeanne's designs
^Yes, they're robe de style type dresses, pioneered by Jeanne Lanvin in the 1920s and a popular option for eveningwear throughout the decade.
I actually like that he brought back the silhouette but they ended up a bit too costume-y, it will be nice to see them in editorials though.
I think those silhouettes are from Balenciaga's famous baby doll dress. Those lanvin ones would be blatant copies without the bows
I find the Lanvin dresses completely outdated and disproportionate. The bottom just hangs there without any structure. The top piece is a frumpy afterthought. This guy is clueless. His clothes look old. No woman has dressed like this in over half a century. All they’re missing is a cigarette and a bouffant.
Givenchy Pre-Fall 2021 vs. Louis Vuitton Resort 2016 (most notably the cropped bombers but I also feel like the two collections share a similar vibe and styling)
I did notice those, becuase they are the rare LV looks I really liked, but I was too lazy to post it lol.
Same, that's probably how it came to my mind as well.
