^ The first one is dead on, but the drapey ones are kind of....well, no designer can truly take credit for that, unless it's a clear case of one dress being identical to a previous one.

Also, that collection was so far removed from McQueen's own trademarks, so it's hard to use it as a standard.

Those two AM green dresses, to me, really look like they are the part of A.Feretti SS08 collection, they instantly reminded me of it.
The same happened with Zac Posen's dresses.
Although I agree with you that "no designer can truly take credit for that" I really think that McQueen is one of those designers who is truly inspiring for other designers.

it was this one and another puffy sleeve look that made me think of balenciaga, yet the resemblance didnt look obvious enough to a specific look, just a whole feeling of that colelction!

Veronique branquinho s/s 99 I do have this branquinho that has the same neckline ( without the opening and button up front ) like the Halston. I have not found the exact pic only found this one from same collection -very hard to find pics of collections this old- but I hope you see my point and mine also the long trousers underneath (but with a bustier top) I swear it is very very similar
