I know some have said that oxford pumps are not stylish/out of style but I still love them! ^_^

I've been seeing a few more oxford pumps being worn recently. I'm not real fond of them, but as with most other garments, I have exceptions. If this was "Yay or Nay?" and we were doing the pumps in #201, I'd say yay.

i hear you, i have like three or four... here i got a pair of shoes at payless... it's my dirty little secret, as i normally only buy leather shoes, but these were so cute, and for $7 i just got them. plus i can walk around town through cobblestone and dirt paths as they have in my town, oh and lots of stairs.

i also got these pink lace socks, which i'm wearing here too...

I've never liked open-toe boots or oxfords. Rather than spew hate, I'll put a silencer on my dark side. Those oxford pumps (Post #206) look very nice, give or take the open toe design.

I just got these Jeffrey Campbell oxfords. They are awesome and I can wear them to work, shopping, etc. Very comfortable and real leather too. I think the platform makes it comfy!

They work best with tights in my opinion. Check my blog out for more clothing options and photos of me wearing them.

PinkPrincess113, it's appropriate those oxford pumps (Post #208) are colored like chocolate because those are sweet! Now I had a chance to look at your blog entry on what you're wearing these oxfords with. Pretty lovely style you have. I guess if I were a femme, I'd probably find a dressy pair of pants to pair these with. Or if I wanted to go casual, I'd find either some jean trousers or some good wide-leg jeans. I guess a lot of my clothing inclinations are more along the lines of semi-formal or dressy (MAYBE preppy as well).

But those oxfords are sweet as candy, and appropriate they have a chocolate brown color. Great purchase!

are the oxfords going out of style?

Well, they're not as hot as they once were ... but they're also classic, and if I really loved a pair, I wouldn't let it stop me that the trend may be on the downswing. Of course that's my philosophy in general--great shoes are great shoes, and if they're me, those are the two most important factors. Trend or no trend, life goes on and so does the wardrobe

yeah.. i love them! but I can't find any here in Malaysia anymore :(
now, all I see is the gladiator everywhere!

I found a perfect pair downtown and I'll post pictures when I get them! :D
