In your opinion, have these shoes been a trend that has already run its course, or are they classics that will be appropriate for years to come?

They are classic, but the trend definitely hasn't run its course. It's somewhere near its height this season ... unless that's what you mean by running its course And I'm glad you revived this thread with the Peter Som pic I posted ... aren't they gorgeous. I just love satin ribbon ties like that ...

I love oxfords. I have the chloes posted a few posts up in burgundy patent as well as a pair from mcqueen and would like to get a few more pairs. I'm surprised there arent any I like this fall considering it's a big trend.
