Pairing Shoes with Clothes Help Thread

CB - So sorry I am late to the party, but I do like the red dress w/ the nude yoyo's! I really like the dresses that Mona posted too. I saw the Banana Republic one in person last weekend and it was very cute!!

Aris - I think a wool skirt and some cute tights would be really cute with those oxfords.

^ Thanks iLoveCouture! You are not too late, party is Friday.... I really loved Mona's tip on the sequin dress from intermix...all in all, I have decided on the red dress/yoyo/red patent clutch and yes, red toes..black satin trimmed knee length/full skirt trench just in case:flower:

BTW.....Loving my Red Ro's iLoveCouture....

cb, in my opinion you made the right decision with that red dress (btw, the back is beautiful on it) with the nude yoyo's

i was going to mention a black satin trench/evening jacket but i see you already have one, another good choice

personally, i think its a better choice than the beaded shift route, i dont even want to think how many women will be going to the same parties this winter in identical beaded dresses...

Oh, Bella, with the trench would look stunning! will you take pictures?

Yes, please take pics! I'm happy you are loving your red Rolando's too -I thought of you instantly when I saw them.

^^ Will share pics for sure! Tomorrow's the night!!!
Thank you for all your thoughts and help:flower:

:heart:CB

^^..A deep purple trench/evening coat would also look fantastic! :woot:

Have a blast! Can't wait to see pics!

Depends on the color of the flats - I think black tights and black/dark grey ballet flats would work. :)

iLoveCouture and Aris... Hello! The night was fabulous however it began under quite nearly catastrophic circumstances:shock:

I painted my toes red, picked out a great new patent red clutch..had my satin trimmed trench ready...as I began to pour myself into my dress... I kid you not if the seam at the waist did not tear!:o OMFG! There was no back up cocktail dress either... at least not one that would match the fabulous accents I have spent so much time coordinating... I took a long, deep breath, grabbed some thread.. a needle and off I went. In the hustle of the repairs, we did miss out on pics:(. I am sorry but please know all of your amazing suggestions worked magic on the evening! My husband was quite pleased:blush:...

:heart:CB

Oh Bella, that is horrible! But I'm happy that it worked out at the end! What about the wife of your friend? How was she?

Where are you going in your Super T outfit?
